Position: Field Service Engineer

Basic Function

This position is responsible in systems assembly, performing on-site installations, servicing and repair of complex x-ray equipment. Serve as liaison with customers and work with problems of diverse scope where analysis and troubleshooting require logical decision based on technical experience and education; responsible for test and certification of systems prior to deployment in the field.

Responsibilities:

Assembly, service and installation of all equipment according to an established service schedule, company and customer standards and within acceptable time frames as well as troubleshoot and rectify potential problems on location;
Work closely with management to ensure timely scheduling of installations, repairs and service work; Communicating with customers in advance about their shipment and installations Field Installations;
Document legibly and accurately all work completed according to company policy, and submit on a timely basis;
Prepare and maintain documentations for, manuals, proposals, resource planning, and scheduling; Drive customer satisfaction through service excellence by conducting Preventative Maintenance (PM’s), field to ensure excellent customer service and enhance the company's image;
Conduct periodic customer follow-up via telephone, e-mail and in person to insure that the Xradia customers have all available and necessary components to operate their x-ray systems;
