MicroXCT™ Gallery

Images created using Xradia's MicroXCT

The MicroXCT enables non-destructive, non-invasive, high-resolution 2D and 3D imaging and is used in applications ranging from semiconductor package inspection and failure analysis, to advanced materials research, medical implants, small animal testing, and MEMs technology.

The image gallery contains a small sample of images reflecting the versatility and capability of this advanced x-ray microscope. Below the still images are examples of 3D tomography datasets. Click on the “play” button to see full 3D tomography in action.

Armed with complete tomographic datasets, researchers can virtually delaminate and cross-section samples to reveal features or defects that are undetectable by conventional 2D x-ray techniques. With feature recognition below 1µm and spatial resolution from 1.5µm  to 30µm (depending on objective lens), the MicroXCT is a powerful analytical tool, bringing unprecedented new imaging capability to the microscopy community.
