Images created using Xradia's nanoXCT
The nanoXCT is the highest resolution commercially-available x-ray microscope system in the world. NanoXCT provides industry users and researchers with x-ray imaging capability heretofore available only with Synchrotron light sources, with unprecedented spatial resolution, down below 60nm. With semiconductor linewidths moving below 100nm, and nano technology emerging as a vital new field of research, the nanoXCT is a timely new addition to the world of high resolution microscopy. Through the use of laboratory x-ray sources and Xradia’s own advanced x-ray optics, the nanoXCT enables non-destructive, non-invasive imaging in both 2D and full 3D tomography modes.
Armed with complete tomographic datasets, researchers can virtually delaminate and cross-section samples to reveal features or defects that are undetectable by conventional 2D x-ray techniques. Non-destructive analysis means faster problem solving, which translates to lower development costs and faster time to market.
Below the still images are examples of 3D tomography datasets.
